Food with Provenance

The Orangery is the 2 AA Rosette restaurant at Trefloyne Manor in Penally — five minutes from Tenby, a world away from the queue for a table. Open daily for lunch and dinner from 12:30, with the best of Pembrokeshire on the plate and the Ritec Valley through the glass.

This is why they carefully source their ingredients; with locally caught fish and lobster (from our lovely fisherman Richard) landed on the quay at Tenby Harbour, as well as across Pembrokeshire and South Wales, and our Welsh meat is selected by local family run butchers, or direct from the farm. To top it off, the vegetables are freshly picked from over the hedge at Ritec Valley Organics, or delivered daily by Hugh our local greengrocer.

A table with a view

The dining room is glass-fronted and flooded with light, looking across the terraces to the Ritec Valley and the manor's grounds beyond. In fine weather, lunch and dinner move outside onto three terraces — and the west-facing aspect means the sunsets earn their own reservations. If you're after a Tenby-area restaurant with a view, this is the one the glass was built for.
